A Little About Us
At Country K9 Kennel, we raise Boxers and Miniature Australian
Shepherds here on the farm in Central Kansas. In college, my
friend had a dog that was 1/2 boxer and I always loved him. I got
the chance to get one of his puppies when he had a litter and we
decided that this was the breed for us and started raising boxers
in February 2001. We look for a great disposition that will make it
a family dog for anyone. We believe that our puppies should grow
to be a part of your family as they have become a part of ours.
Last year, in March 2008, we had the pleasure of meeting people
who had some Miniature Australian Shepherds and we fell in love
with them. They have great dispositions and are so intelligent.
They get along great with kids and stay smaller so that they are
good even for smaller children. They still have the ability to work
cattle, just in a compact version. You can read more about each
